Customize Your Brand Voice
How does brand voice impact my copy? When you create a custom brand voice, it can be applied to all generations Describely creates for you.
- On the left sidebar under the Brand and Content section, click Brand Voice.
- Choose to add your brand voice manually or ask Describely to detect your brand voice from a sample.
- If you're creating your tone manually, name your custom voice and perfect the description. The best for format for your description is 3-5 descriptive words separated by a comma.
- Click the Save button in the lower right.
Congrats! Now your custom voice can be used in bulk within your Content Rules.
Manage Restricted Keywords
- On the left sidebar under the Brand and Content section, click Restricted Words.
- Click the Create New button to set up a new restricted keyword set.
- Name your restricted keyword list.
- Type the keyword(s) or phrase(s) you'd like to avoid in the box and press enter.
Note: If needed, click the blue Add Amazon Restricted Keywords button to pull in keywords restricted on Amazon. These have been identified through our own research. - To remove any keywords from your restricted set, click the X next to each keyword.
- Once you're ready, click the green Save button in the lower right to save your restricted keyword set.
Voila! Your restricted keyword set is now available to use in your Content Rules.
Have a long list of words to avoid? Copy and paste them right into your restricted keyword list! Just be sure each word or phrase is separated with a comma (,).
Create & Manage Content Rules
Content Rules are pre-set prompts to customize your content within Describely. Use them within bulk generations to tailor your brand tone, restricted keywords, content length, language, and more.

Tip: Once your content rules are in place, you can use our audit feature to check the content you imported or what the AI generated for brand adherence!
Manage Your Settings
Important: Only admins can manage account settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Account.
- In the top ribbon, select Brand Guidelines.
- In the left sidebar, click Settings.
- Under the Bulk Review setting, select whether you'd like bulk review to be required or optional, or choose to opt out completely.
- Click Save Settings. Voila! Your settings will now be applied to all users in your Describely account.
