Customize your brand tone

How does brand tone impact my copy? When you create a custom brand tone, it can be applied to all content Describely creates for you.

  1. On the left sidebar, click Content Rulesets, then select Brand Tone in the center.
  2. Choose to add your brand tone manually or ask Describely to AI Detect your brand tone from a sample.
  3. If you're creating your tone manually, enter at least 3-5 comma-separated, descriptive words OR describe your tone in complete sentences.
  4. On the bottom right, click the Save and Apply button.

Congrats! Now your brand tone can be used in bulk within your Content Rules

Manage restricted words

  1. On the left sidebar, click Content Rulesets, then select Restricted Words in the center.
  2. Click the New button to set up and name a new restricted word list.
  3. Enter the keyword(s) or phrase(s) you'd like to avoid.

Note: If needed, click the Add Amazon Restricted Keywords button to pull in keywords restricted on Amazon. These have been identified through our own research.
  4. To remove any keywords from your restricted set, click the X next to each keyword.
  5. On the bottom right, click the green Save and Apply button.

Voila! Your restricted keyword set is now available to use in your Content Rules

Have a long list of words to avoid? Copy and paste them right into your restricted keyword list! Just be sure each word or phrase is separated with a comma (,).
