How to Invite & Manage Users

Requirements: Only account admins can invite, manage, or remove users.

How to invite teammates

  1. In the lower left corner, click Account.
  2. Select Users from the top toolbar.
  3. In the top right corner, click Invite User.
  4. Enter your teammate's email address and click Send Invite. You can invite multiple users at once if needed. They will need to accept the email invitation within 24 hours before it expires. 

  5. After the invite is accepted, your teammate will be emailed a log-in link which will expire after 30 days. After this time, users can request a new link from the log-in page.

Voila! Your teammate has been added to your Describely account!

Tip:  Make sure your teammate completes the log-in process in one browser session, as links are one-time use. If you have any trouble, reach out to us at support@describely.ai.

Change user permissions

Wondering what role to assign your teammates? Only admins can access account settings, manage your plan and add-ons, update payment and billing information, and manage users. Non-admin users can do everything else!

  1. In the lower left corner, click Account.
  2. Select Users from the top toolbar.
  3. Locate the user whose permissions you'd like to change. 
  4. Under the Role column, click the toggle icon to change the user's role to either Admin or User. Voila! Your user's permissions have been updated!

Delete a user

  1. In the lower left corner, click Account.
  2. Select Users from the top toolbar.
  3. Select the checkbox to the left of the user you'd like to remove.
  4. In the top right corner, click Delete User. This will remove the user from your account. However, any content or products they created will remain in your account.
