Connect Google Search Console
Follow the steps in this article to integrate your Google Search Console analytics with Describely!
Crawl your domain
Interested in crawling your domain? Email us at support@describely.ai to discuss unlocking this feature.
Once you've connected Google Search Console, be sure to crawl your domain to retrieve all product pages from your website.
To do so, click on the crawl icon next to your domain link at the top of the Analytics page.
The crawling process may take a few minutes. Once it's completed, you will receive an email that looks something like this.
You will then be able to start generating content by clicking on the Create button on your Analytics page!
Link your product analytics
Once Google Search Console is connected, you can link products in Describely to their associated page URLs, so you can analyze product performance.
Note: Analytics are not supported for draft or unpublished products.
To link products from your Analytics:
- Click Analytics on the left sidebar.
- From either the All Pages or Unlinked Pages tab, find the page you want to link a product to and click Link.
- Select the product from the dropdown. Voila! You will now see that your selected page is linked to one or more product(s).
What about product variants? If you sell multiple variant SKUs on the same page URL, you can link multiple products to that same page in Describely.
If each variant has its own unique page, you'll instead want to link each to its respective page URL.
Review your performance
Once you've linked your products and pulled analytics data into Describely, you can view all page analytics from the Analytics tab on the left sidebar.
At the top, you'll see a trend report with an overview of product page performance over the last 30, 60, 90, or 180 days.
Tip: Use the filters and sorting to view performance for specific products over various time ranges.
