Import new products from a file
Tip: You can import new products from a file regardless of your catalog type, including connector catalogs! This is perfect to prepare for new product launches.
- From the right of any catalog, click the green Add Product button.
- Select Import from CSV or Excel.
- Follow these steps to import your products.

Sync products from a store connector
To import new products after you've connected your store, click the Sync button on the top of your catalog.
- A full store sync will update content for all live and draft products in your store in Describely.
- If you only need to bring in new products uploaded in your sales platform, you can choose to bring in new products only.
Create a new product
- On the left sidebar, select Product Catalogs.
- On the right side of the toolbar, click Add Product.
- Select Create Product, and choose the catalog to add it to OR create a new one.
- Enter any existing product fields. A Product Title is required (don't worry, you can easily create a new one if needed).
- On the top right corner, click the Enhance button, and select your content ruleset and the fields you'd like to create.
- Click Generate.
- Once it's ready, review and approve the new fields, make any needed edits, and click Save Changes. Voila!
Not seeing your new product? Use Saved Filters to sort your catalog by Date Last Updated. This will easily show new products at the top.
