📌 Overview

Need to create content for multiple products at once? Describely’s bulk content creation lets you create accurate, high-quality, brand-aligned product content at scale—saving you time without sacrificing quality.

In just a few clicks, you can apply custom rules, use product images as context, and choose which content fields to write across multiple products.

🚀 How to Get Started

1. From your Catalog, select the products you want to generate content for in bulk.
2. In the upper right, click Enhance With AI.

3. Select the Generate Content option.

   Note: If you have gaps in your product data, experiment with the Enrich Data option first. More product data means higher quality content.

4. Give your generation a name if you'd like.
5. Choose a Content Ruleset.
   1. Select from any saved Content Rules to control tone, format, and branding. Note that different rulesets may be linked to different fields.
   2. If you’ve provided sample product descriptions during your account setup, you will already have a ruleset saved in your account.
6. Optional: Include product images
   1. If you’ve imported product images, check the box to include them as context in the AI generation process.

   2. This can improve content specificity and relevance.

      Choose which fields to generate

   3. Select the specific content fields you want to create (e.g., product title, description, bullet points, meta titles, meta descriptions).
   4. All selected products will be updated with the generated content in the fields you choose after you approve it.
7. Start the job
   1. Click to confirm and generate content across all selected products.
   2. Once done, you’ll be able to review, edit, and approve content.

• Use Content Rulesets to maintain a consistent voice and content structure across your catalog.
• Only want to update certain fields (like meta descriptions)? You don’t need to generate everything—just pick the fields you need.
• Including product images helps the AI generate more visual and context-aware descriptions.
• Use Saved Filters to run bulk generation on filtered selections (e.g., by category or type) to target specific product sets.
• Don't forget to review and approve your content to make it available for export or publishing!

🛠 Troubleshooting

• Not seeing your rulesets? Make sure you’ve created or saved at least one under your account. Otherwise, Describely's Default Rules will be used in your generation.
• Some products missing content? Check that your products have enough imported data to write a quality description. 
• Content didn’t generate for some fields? Double-check your field selections before running the job.
