Create AI-Generated Product Image Variations

Why use Describely's Product Image Generator? Now, you can quickly expand your product photo library without hiring a photographer. In just a few clicks, generate new product image variations using AI to improve your visuals and conversion rates.
Access the Product Image Generator
- To get started, make sure you have at least one existing product photo uploaded.
- In your product catalog, click on the product page where you want to generate more images.
- Once you’re on the product page, hover over the main product image.
- You’ll see a magic wand icon appear—this is your gateway to the AI image generator.
Important: Keep in mind each image variation you create requires one image processing credit.
Generate New Image Variations
When you click the magic wand icon, the image generation window opens. Here’s what to do next:
- Choose how many images you want to create. You can generate multiple variants in one go.
- Select the quality level that best fits your needs.
- Add a detailed instruction describing the kind of images you want. The more specific your command, the better your results.
For example, if your product is a hot chocolate mix, you might write:
“Show the product in a cozy kitchen scene with a steaming mug of cocoa.”
Tip: Use descriptive words like “lifestyle,” “studio,” or “action shot” and describe visuals of the scene to help the AI understand the look you’re going for.
Review and Apply Your AI Images
Once your images are generated, you’ll see variations appear for review. Take a moment and select the ones that best match your needs.
When you’re ready:
- Click Accept to apply your chosen images to the product.
- Your new photos will automatically be available for use in Describely — both to improve your written content AND export or publish back to your store.
